Reflow Studio are expanding our developer team with a focus on responsive eCommerce and brochure websites.  Our in-house graphic designers create fantastic visuals that require implementation in a responsive manner, for a wide variety of small and medium sized business clients in the UK. Everyone at Reflow Studio actively contributes to the direction of our in-house content management system, Chameleon, and our open source offerings primarily based on Wordpress.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently, be resourceful and creative in how they work, and happy to take ownership of their parts of a project to ensure the whole project is delivered on time and on spec. Good attention to detail is essential.


Two or more years commercial experience creating themes, templates and or application interfaces with PHP 5+, MySQL and Javascript.
Strong oral and written communication skills with both teams and clients
Excellent understanding of the latest and legacy browser capabilities, including mobile
Familiarity with version control
Excellent problem solving skills with a good understanding of the various factors influencing the performance and usability of websites
An interest in substantial systems

The candidate would ideally also:

Be happy to assist the Sales Team and Account Managers with technical queries and solutions particularly when detailing job requirements and specifications
Enjoy guiding and mentoring staff who have less breadth of understanding

Scope of role:

Collaborate with creative teams and account teams to deliver superb digital projects on time and specification
Evolve and develop existing in-house Chameleon CMS system
Learn about and give insight into different platforms so Reflow Studio always offers the best platform solution to clients
Support front end developers who provide CSS and Javascript solutions
Maintain high quality and well documented code
Connect to various third party platforms using different API’s


£25,000 - £30,000 annual salary
