Are you an experienced web developer with commercial acumen and an interest in marketing and digital publishing?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading B2B magazine, with global websites for HR, global managers and relocation professionals, plus additional websites for relocating employees. They are currently rolling out their successful formula internationally.
They are now looking for a talented and enthusiastic web developer to manage major projects. You will manage the future development and maintenance of their family of websites; and lead on a wide range of online activities including search engine optimisation; social media strategies; email newsletters and sales emails; subscription management; posting content; sourcing and manipulation of images; and reporting weekly and monthly statistics.
You will also manage their in-house systems including Sugar CRM; their mailing list management; and assist the sales team; perform backups; and generally support the PC/MAC network.
You will have the opportunity to work with web design and marketing agencies as well as training existing staff and interns on web development issues.
Skills and Experience:
Sound knowledge of web design, development and site content management systems, preferably Joomla and Wordpress.
Your technical skills will include a firm grasp of:
Photoshop and cPanel tools, along with a sound knowledge of SEO.
Candidates should be able to manage the Apache HTTP and FTP systems in place, and be able to use/quickly learn the cPanel administrative interface.
You should have experience in using major social media platforms, and understand how they can be used for generating both targeted traffic to their websites and new leads for their sales and marketing teams.
