We are currently a seeking a web developer for web and mobile applications to be part of our amazing team.
 
What will you be doing?
 
Developer Role
 
The web developer will work in a team environment in the creation and ongoing development of web and mobile products. We are looking for a self-starter who is excited to learn and improve his or her skillset in the ever-evolving medium of the web. The ideal candidate will have a solid proven background in object-oriented programming using PHP.
 
  1. Breaking down program specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language
  2. Clarifying which actions the website/app is intended to perform
  3. Devising possible solutions to anticipated problems
  4. Working as part of a team
  5. Combining all elements of the website/app design and testing it
  6. Testing sample data-sets to check that output from the website/app works as intended
  7. Reacting to problems and correcting the website/app as necessary
  8. Adapting the website/app to new requirements, as necessary
  9. Updating, repairing, modifying and developing existing software and generic applications
 
Job Requirements
 
  • Ability to deliver best-in-class HTML5/CSS3/Javascript web applications
  • Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets
  • Understand when mobile web apps are appropriate as opposed to native applications
 
Have experience with
 
  • CSS pre-processor, such as LESS or SASS
  • Frontend framework, such as Bootstrap
  • PHP Framework such as Joomla, Magento, Zend
  • MySQL, or another relational database
  • Git, or other version control system
  • Producing standards-compliant code
  • Work with client services, and the design team, and manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment
  • Participate in discussions with clients and team members about technical best practices and help teams identify optimal technical solutions
  • Ability to follow best practices during the development process, and suggest improvements to the process
  • Undergo at least 1 certification to be agreed with management within each career development life cycle
 
Starting Salary GBP 14000 - 20000 Annualy
